A friend of mine asked me if I could do a Jay Jay the Jet Plane cake for her son who will be turning 2 in May. I like doing fun whimsical 3-D type cakes and therefore don't want to do a plane sheet cake with an edible image or anything like that. Just wondering if anyone out there has done a Jay Jay the Jet Plane cake? I don't know much about this character as my son was never into watching the cartoon. If anyone has any ideas they could share, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!!! icon_biggrin.gif

Look through the galleries for planes/airplanes. There are some nice 3D planes there. I'm sure the decorator would give you instructions on how to construct it if you PM them. Then just make the nose of the plane into Jay Jay's face. It's on PBS so you should be able to find images of him if you do a google search.

do a search on the net for Jay Jay... get an idea of colors, shape, etc...

Then check out Debbie Brown's site look under her Chararactor cakes. I am pretty sure she has some Jay Jay stuff.
