I am SOOOOO nervous about this. Im delivering at 1.30pm. I won't be able to relax until its there in one peice, and they say it tasted good.
What do you all think? I know my smoothing and icing on squares needs to be worked on, the top tier was a pain in the butt. Does Pooh even look like Pooh? He was supposed to be more like the classic Pooh.
AHHHH Im so nervous!!!!
Maybe if you add a border to the top edge will hide some of the problems you had with the top tier I think the cake is great!!! very nice cute!!! I have to make a shower cake for next weekend for a friend and I still don't know what I will be doing
yes, knew it was poo
as for a top border -- if it weren't for the fact of how long it would take to make -- a whole ton of those bumble bees all the way lookiing at poo.
other than that -- got more of those flowers?
or match with the icing pearls?

it's so cute!
Pooh looks just fine as does the rest of your cake! Very nice job! I am with with Doug and Icingandsprinkles in thinking you need to add a border on the top. The flowers would look really nice if you have extra ones.
Doug.........I LOVE that bumblebee border idea! I can just picture it so clearly and it is/would be adorable!
Great job! I hope my first cake like this turns out this good. Yes I knew it was the classic pooh as soon as I saw the pic.
The cake looks fabulous!!! I think you did a fantastic job. I also agree with the others maybe just add a quick border to the top. If you don't have more flowers than maybe a dainty pearl border? Just a suggestions. Good luck..and relax it is POOH-rific just POOH-fect!!!
ah great job! it looks sooo cute. i love the basketweave..i know its always a pain the butt to do. but you make it look so good!
post a new picture if you add anything if you don't you're cake it's still incredible
He sure does look like the classic pooh! I think you did great on this cake and you should feel proud. There is a lot I like about it, but my favorites are...of course pooh, I love the bees(too cute) and the little flower boarder you have on the bottom! GREAT JOB! Jen
That cake is adorable! Turn it over to your customer with pride in a job well done. Believe me, we are our own worst critics. The customer is not discussing whether he thinks your icing is smooth enough, they'll be too busy talking about that adorable Pooh!
If you want to add to it, that's fine, but the cake is great as it is.
great job. I agree with Doug about adding a border of some kind to the top. The bees would be awesome, but you may not have time for that.
Maybe a bead border on top would help.
Either way it looks great.
Your cake is absolutely adorable! You did a great job and they will love it! You could add a top border or not. I agree we are our own worst critics!!!
awww.....just so cute cute CUTE!
that new border is "the icing on the cake" so to speak
Thanks Doug...
Im off to deliver it in 20 minutes... wish me luck LOL... no hard breaking!!!
The cake is adorable...I love the flower border. Honestly, I would have put a border on the top tier regardless of any problems since I think it would look more balanced. I am saving this to my favorites ~ great job!
I love it and the white flower border on the top tier really finished it off! Let us know how it was received - Im sure they wouldn't be anything short of delighted.
