I was hoping you would be willing to share your favourite white cake recipes with me? Or any other flavour if they stick out in your mind. I do not care if they are from scratch or cake mixes doctored...I just need them

Here's my favorite:

1 Box BC butter white cake mix.
1 cube butter
1 sm pkg white chocolate pudding mix
1 more egg white than is indicated on cake box
1C milk
1 tsp almond extract

Mix all ingredients cook as indicated on the box! This is my favorite cake recipe period, I like it better than my chocolate cakes even!

My favorite white cake mix is what Magnolia Bakery in New York uses for their famous cupcakes. It is a vanilla cake mix.

1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs, at room temperture
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease, flour, and line pans as normal, set aside.
In a small bowl, combine flours. Set aside.
In a large bowl, on medium speed of a electric mixer, cream in butter until smooth. Add the sugar gradually and beat until fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the dry ingredients in three parts, alternating with milk and vanilla. With each addition, beat until ingredients are incorporated but do not overbeat. Using a rubber spatula, scape down batter in bowl to make sure the ingerdients are well blended. Fill cake pans as normal. Makes 2 dozen cupcakes bake for 20-25 minutes or 2 9 in layer cakes bake for 30-40 minutes.

My family goes crazy of this cake.

My favorite is almost like euphoriabakery's - I do everything except the milk & almond (I don't like almond flavor) - and this, too, is my favorite cake, period - especially with the white chocolate buttercream and fresh strawberries. yum.

Euphoriabakery...what do you mean by 1 cube of butter? One of the sticks (out of four)?
