Can this be done? Cane you get that same metalic color on BC? Does it clump the icing? Sorry if that is a silly question, I was just wondering....

I have used it with fondant....

How about on Royal icing?

I've used it on buttercream before. You want a crusting buttercream. Just make sure you use a light touch and a soft brush. And yes I believe it can be used with royal as well.

Here is the cake I did. I brushed it on dry with a brand new makeup brush.

thanks so much, I got a cake order for St. Patty's day, and the lady asked to not use fondant... I wanted to make a pot of gold and wanted to know if it would wouk on buttercream or royal.

Yet again you all have saved me!!!
