My cousin is having a joint 18th and graduation party! She wants a semi fancy cake but I am not sure of even how to combine the two celebrations into one cake !!! Anyone with Ideas!!!!!! They would be greatly appreiciated!

possible saying:

"only took 18 years to graduate!"


and here's an idea for combining 18 w/ year of grad (those things inside the 8/double zeros are supposed to be stars.)

Maybe a two tier cake. I love the look of the wired fondant stars. You could use her high school colors and put 2006 on the stars. Maybe congratulations on the side of the cake. More fondant stars with 18 on them on the bottom tier.

I love both those ideas. I was thinking of a 2 tiered cake and I love the idea of the 2006 on wire and the 18 I think I may go with that!

Maybe do a "two faced" stacked cake. Do one side decorated for her birthday and the other side decorated for her graduation.

I did one for the exact same occasions. It was square and on one side I wrote the birthday message and on the other side I did the graduation. Let's see if I can attach a pic of it. It was a HUGE hit.
