Will Royal Icing adhere to chocolate. I am making Easter Chocolate eggs and want to decorate it with Royal Icing. Will the icing stay on the egg?TIA

I have used royal icing to write names on chocolate easter eggs and to make small flower designs on the eggs. I usually decorate the candy a day or so before I will need them, not too far in advance.

After decorating, I leave them sit out until the icing hardens and they work out fine.

You can even make royal icing flowers seperately and attach them to the candy eggs.
