I will be making an open book cake to look like a scrapbook in a couple weeks for a National Scrapbooking Day get together. I think I know what i'm going to do but would love to see any pictures of this type of cake. Does anyone have one they can post or link me to?

Yes, that's the same one that is in the 2005 Wilton yearbook...it's very cute. Can't wait to see yours.

Scrapbooking is also a love of mine...actually I have a whole room dedicated to it....I really should take out an extra insurance policy just for what's in that room ......my DH asked me should he build another room onto the house for my growing cake decorating supplies. LOL I know your cake is going to be wonderful.

I'm trying not to get hooked on scrapbooking in addition to cake decoration but i'm getting sucked in! Every tool I look at I wonder how I can use it for cake decorating too!

Hi! I just posted the cake I made for my s-i-l father's b-day. He is a photography nut so this was fitting. It can go with the scrapbooking theme.
