I have seen this cake many times, on CC and several other sites. I think it is from a wilton book. My soon to be SIL really wants it for her wedding.
I know it is asking a lot, but could someone send me the instuction from the Wilton book?

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried looking on the Wilton site for the instructions? I read on another forum that they post the Year Book directions on there and you can print them for free.

I do not remember seeing that cake in the Wilton yearbook, although it may be in an older one from before I started decorating. Wilton published a book called Wilton Tiered Cakes. Unfortunately, I do not own this book. Does anyone else out there have it, and can help out?

Sorry I could not be of more help.

This is the best I can do to help you out.. Looks like the roman column tier set.. 10" on top and the 18" separator plate on bottom with the column pillars. Garden Ridge has this set for like 40 bucks. You can get a fountain at Elizabeth's in Euless. Elizabeths Cake Supplies

Looks like 2 sets of Filigree Bridge and stairway set.. like 12 or 13 bucks at Garden Ridge..
Cakes at the back look like classic separator sets.. I would think the top tier looks like a 8" cake and the bottom 10" . looks like maybe 10" at the front bottom aswell.. and for the design.. hmm
looks like double drop string with some cornelli lace.. Hope this helps!! icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks for all of the info Brian! I have a real hard time telling what size everthing is just looking at a picture.

My soon to be SIL was this cake for her wedding. Good thing it is going to be in the summer so I have time off to work on it. I teach a Boswell. Go Pioneers!

why don't you pm the decorater kaecakes and ask her for help? Most would be alright with sharing information.
