I am sooo sorry but I have another question.........how do you attach things when you are making little figures with mmf?

then when I am done with them do I just let them sit out to dry?

Also what do I do if I have any left over? How do I or can I store it?

oh no maybe I should've asked all this BEFORE mixing it all up!!!

when i make stuff with mmf i either attatch it with a royal icing dab, or a buttercream spot on the back of what you want to attatch and stick it to the cake.

i made edible pearls and let them sit out for a day to dry. i think a day is enough time for it to dry completly.

because mmf is sugar and marshmellow it stays good for a while, it will get hard, but just pop it into the microwave. i keep mine double wrapped in saran wrap and in a container with a lid in the fridge. ive never not used it for longer than a week though.

I attach with just water, if it is realy heavy I will use a tooth pick.

I just let my stuff air dry, out of the sun, sunlight will discolor it.

You can keep your extra in a air tight container, if it gets too hard to work with just pop it in the micowave for a few seconds...

Hope that helps...

I like to use spagettie noodles if I need support and I attach my pieces with piping gel.

Other things you can use to attach your pieces are a little fondant mixed with water or some meringue powder mixed with water.
