Do you mean thread?

OK- I didn't know. I didn't realize it was any different than any other thread/forum where we do.

OK- I'll not worry about it then. But earlier today I couldn't do it in any forum. Weird cosmos today.

On a childcare board I frequent we have a board for trading or selling people check the board and post a reply or pm the poster

poster figures postage ahead of time

Yes sometimes the first to reply may not get it as someone pm'd the the poster and people tend to trust their friends or long term members but there has been n0o hard feelings.

I would love a "for sale" section where members could send emails to inquire with each other about what they have for sale. That way if they have something you need instructions for, they could help you out!

It could be called "Classifieds" for the tab on top.

I was talking to Jackie on this, and she said that she really really wants to do this, but she does not have the manpower to do this. She said that when she can, she does want to add this option. I'm sure she has added it to her to do list.

There is no differences to adding this as to one of the other forums on the site you make a fourm, and you let people post what they have for sale.. Cake Central is not responceable for anything that is posted here its up to the person selling and the preson buying just if you were doing it on ebay but you dont have to wait for a bid you just post that you want it and they work it out between them... I am going to be shocked if she makes this area its going to take from her selling the stuff she does on her site... if there is anyone in the min time that would like to post items I have a for sale area in the non members area your more then welcome to post your items there.. or come there and look to see what is listed.... There is not much right now I have cleaned it out to get rid of the sold items.. But there are a few things..

this would be a really good idea... i used to trade and sell stuff online (using and not using ebay) and it's just kind of a trust issue... keep a reference list when you do buy from or sell to someone... then you can provide email "feedbacks" from people... i've been ripped off already but it's just a chance you take... ebay's not the safest either but there are measures you can take if you do get ripped off

I think it is a wonderful idea! I have lots of extra stuff I would get rid of cheap. Also I have to do a groomscake in the shape of TEXAS for goodness sake...if anyone knows where to get a pan shaped like TX. PLEASE let me know!

Oh I think this would be a wonderful thing to do!! I am forever searching on eBay for stuff, and yes, you can get majorly ripped off on there if not careful. I hate when I find something on there and get outbid at the last minute icon_sad.gif So disappointing. I think having a classified section on here would be just awesome!! I hope it happens!
