I have a friend of mine who owns an H&R block. She needs a Tax theme cake for the almighty April 18th Deadline. Any ideas? I am so stumped. This is my 1st requested theme cake, I really want to get this right. Thanks for any ideas! birthday.gif

There's always the "Death & Taxes" theme; the only two sure things in life. icon_smile.gif

You could do an Uncle Sam arm reaching and grabbing a fist of money and a coffin. Or make the cake in a coffin shape with the arm sticking staight up holding the money. Taxes follow you to the grave!!!!

Great idea...thanks.It may be alittle advanced for me. But there's plenty of time for practice, practice, practice.

I used to work for Jackson Hewitt. You could put a copy of a 1040 on the top. Use piping gel and trace the lines behind the paper and put it on the top of the cake. Then, trace over the piping gel with the black icing. You could also put the H&R Block logo on top of the cake.

Good luck. I really can't wait to see what you decide to do. Please post it.
