Oh No not Ducky!...thats okay - he's in good company. I've never used the 3-d duck pan...I'll have to use it and post in the disaster forum for that one too icon_lol.gif

Well, I probably should go to bed sometime tonight...I can't wait to see your cake also.

Thanks guys!! I tried to do branches & leaves, but I found out I don't make them well, so I figured this would do. This cake was a challenge from baking to putting the last bit of fur on, but I had a great time!!

Thanks guys:

Newtodecorating: Thank you. As for TeddyI, my husband came home & discovered him...lets just say he did not go to waste icon_biggrin.gif

Shelbysyummys: I don't remember that icon_confused.gif Maybe I'm showing my age icon_lol.gif

Smashcakes: I'm glad everyone was able to share in my saga here...when I was getting frustrated decorating him I had to come on here & reread this thread icon_lol.gif

I almost want to have another disaster because this was so much fun icon_lol.gif

ge978, I am so glad that Teddy II turned out great for you, he is so adorable. Sorry for such a late response, was having problems with computer. just remember to always toss the core on the 3d pans and add more time and they will always turn out for you.

frstech: Thank you for the compliment & the advice...I usually don't use a heating core in any of my cakes even the big ones, but the one time I decide to, well..you know icon_lol.gif
Yes, I would say I learned many many things about baking when I was making Teddy. Most of all I learned that it is very cathardic to share your disasters with your CC buddies thumbs_up.gif

Well Ge, I said I would post my kitchen after I baked, and you said only if it were a cake disaster. Looks like we both win, (though you can't see the mess, you will see the cake)...just about the post now icon_wink.gif
