Does anyone have a recipe for a Kringle Cake? Any New Orleanians out there? It's a flaky, buttery pastry filled with a pecan filling, then covered with a praline/caramel icing with pecans sprinkled on top. I absolutely love them, but costs too much to have it shipped. I've tried making it before, and it was OK, but just wasn't the same.
oky... i have never heard of these! they sure do sound good though. so here's another bump!

That's pretty close, but the pastry has more butter folded into it. It doesn't flake much although it is very thin. The filling is more than just sugar and pecans - it's almost like the filling of a pecan pie. But this gives me something to work with. Thanks!!
