I'm on the Parents Council of my Daughters School and we're holding a Table quiz on St. patrick's weekend. I'm thinking of putting up a cake as a spot prize. Any idea's for decoration? I just thought it might be a good way to advertise locally and get my name out there with the locals.

Its Fondant I work in by the way.

You could try this cake. With or without the leprechaun it would be lovely.

It might give you some ideas anyway!

You have to do something st.patrick's day of course, keeping with the theme and all. I think that if you are also trying to get you name out there then do something whimsical that children would love. If a child sees it and loves it and says " hey mom look at this cake, I want one" what parent can tell their little bugger "no". Always trying to please our children!

The Quiz is actually for the parents, will be a late night affair with a Disco after it.
