I don't drink coffee. I do have coffee and a coffee pot on hand for friends/family, but I don't know how to make it. If I need 1.5 cups for tripletmom's Chocolate Layer Cake recipe that is posted in the recipe section, how much water, coffee etc. do I use?

TIA,
Suz

I would say no more than a heaping tablespoon of auto drip coffee for 1.5 c. of water. I am a coffeeholic.

If I do not have coffee in the pot when I make that cake, I just use instant. I usually have instant hazelnut coffee and use that-it adds just a hint of flavor to the cake. I'll then fill it with buttercream mixed with nutella and YUMMY.
