What goes good with lime??

I am craving something lime!! (No, I'm not pregnant! LOL) I've really been wanting to try a cake with some sort of lime filling &/or frosting, but I'm not really sure what flavor cake would be best to pair it up with beyond plain white. Any ideas??

How about a coconut cake with lime filling & icing. Nice and tropical!!!

Sorry, not much help on lime. I just did a lemon cake with mmf flavored in orange...it is yummy!!

But you did get me to thinking... I've heard a few people on this site mention champagne flavored cakes, do you think that would work?

I like angel food cake with ANYTHING...and lime is my favorite flavor (and favorite smell too, but nobody asked about that)

Godiva has come out with new turffles that are dark chocolate and lime...I'm not sure what I think about that, except that if its good enough for Godiva, its good enough for me!
