My Birthday Cake!!!! Loooooooong Story

My birthday is still more than 5 hours away, but I have already received a few presents. On Monday i had to go for a CT scan (Been having blurred vision and the old brain had to be checked out as no other reason could be found for the blurriness), anyway i find needles traumatic, im a sook!! 
Mum went with me and on the way home, dad calls and asks that we stop by before mum drives me home so he can see that im ok. I get there and he tells me that he has my b'day present (it was monday, birthday is Wednesday), and he brings out a t-shirt, with a print of a picture of my three adored angels (my sister's three kids) with a message at the bottom saying "We love you Aunty", sooo cute, mum tells me that he just wanted me to feel better about my traumatic test 
, kinda like when kids get lollypops from the doc when they go get a needle (Im turning 33 by the way hahahaha)
Then mum says that since dad's ruined it by giving me his present, she has to give me hers, and she comes out with a bottle of Poeme, which is one of my No.1 fav perfumes. So I was very happy indeed.
Today I was meeting a couple of friends for lunch, in fact meeting another CC member for the first time (even though we've been emailing for ages and i helped her out with her business website), and we were meeting at one of my other friend's place for lunch.
My friend made a really yummy vegetarian lunch (for me, the non meat eater ; ) and made me a gorgeous cake that I have put in the cake gallery. The cake is an oval cake, and it has a little crate of apples, a while back Min and I were discussing clothese we owned in the early 80's and she was telling me about some hideous jumpsuit she owned, and i told her that i owned a fully bright red one, and always having been on the heavy side, it made me look like a giant apple.

I also received a small spatula for my flower petals. and gorgeous Fran (franjmc) bought me a really beautiful and huge basket full of precious goodies (Baci chocolates, chocolate rocks, cherry liquer filled chocs, Lindt Chocolate, a gorgeous green apron(green is my fav color) a really romantic looking photo frame (green with roses oh!! so pretty), a bracelet with a metal maple leaf, bath oil, a loofah, hand and nail cream)
wow!!! My birthday hasnt even arrived, and i've received so many beautiful things.
I will cut the cake tomorrow at dinner with the family.

Hubby gave me a voucher to purchase an airbrush this morning and picked me some roses out of the garden before he went to work!! He's so sweet : )

Whooo-hoo Nellie! I can't wait to see what you can do with an airbrush! 
I however, am terrible with mine. I tried to airbrush just a paper towel for practice and even IT looked awful!
