How Many Servings And How Much Cake Batter
Decorating By southaustingirl Updated 28 Feb 2006 , 6:05pm by southaustingirl
I am sure this has been asked and answered....but how can I determine the number of servings in a cake? How much cake batter is needed? Is there a chart somewhere that has this information. I have only made 8" or 9" round cakes for some birthday celebrations.....but how much do I need to serve 100 people? 75 people? etc.....
thanks!
Someone kindly pointed me in this direction when I asked. It's a great tool and I now have it bookedmarked.

You could use the wilton cahrts or make your own it depends what YOUR serving size is........i used to used wilton but after a while I kind got the feel for it and adjusted those numv=bers a bit to suit me and the occasion
