I am baking a cake for a school auction and will be usin the wondermold. This is the first time that I use this mold and am wondering if it is ok to torte the cake just to add some frosting between the layers. I am guessing that it would be ok, I thought I would use a center dowel just to give it back some stability. Anyone done this before?

I have heard of people doing that.....and yes they used a dowel also.... I havent done anything like that yet....
