One more question. What is the best way to ice the cookies. I was going to try I think its called Tobie Garretts Icing. Do I need to outline first? I'm making ducks, baby feet, and gingerbread boys. Help!!!!

If you need details go with royal icing since Toba's is more runny and you have to add a lot of powdered sugar to thicken it.

the taba garrett recipe gives you the flood. you then add powdered sugar to get the outline icing. you outline first then flood. then i always come back and add detail with the outline icing.
