I agreed to do this cake for a wedding in June! I have never done a whimsical cake. I have printed out all previous posts on how to's, but does anyone have any easy directions, or insight to do this. The cake size, when set and done, should be a 6, 8, and 12 inch...so what size pans should I use. Thanks!!!
Why do I get myself into these situations??? icon_cry.gif

Can you look at a copy of Collette Peters "Cakes to Dream On"? She has wonderful directions on the topsy-turvy cake. You might try the library. If you aren't successful in finding a copy, PM me, including your e-mail address, I'll scan and e-mail the full directions from the book to you.

Do you think I can get it at a Barnes and Noble?

The tutorial posted by Fooby is directly from the "Cakes to Dream On" book. I love the book, but you can print out the tutorial and save the money, if you'd prefer.
