we have neighbors who are PCSing to Alaska and they have been throwing things out right and left.... one day last week as I was waiting for the bus with my boys the hubby comes out and says.."Mrs Fritz, I understand you do cakes....would you like a few cake pans?" I looked at him and said well sure why not I can always use a few pans...... so he tells me he'll bring them to my house in a few minutes.... well I get to my house and within a few minutes he's knocking on my door. He handed me a couple of pans....ones I wanted no less and took them said "thank you so much....I have been wanting these pans, I tickled pink thank you" well he said no problem..... well dont ya know he just knocked on my door again....this time with 10 cake pans..... they forgot about those and the packers had packed them up Friday so he said "here you go, have fun" and walked away.... meanwhile I am in shock every pan is a retired wilton pan or one that I wanted..... well the problem now is I have no room for them myself but momma didnt raise no fool ..... I told my hubby when he called from Africa what I got and his statement was "what are we going to do with more pans....I answered back.... what did we do with your 10 TREESTANDS????????????" he laughed and said if I had to go buy a rubbermaid container just for my pans so the movers dont mess with them in AUgust.....yes we are moving again!!! We just got here in August! this time we are retiring....hopefully in Illinois!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How lucky! my aunt just dropped off a spongebob pan that she picked up for me at a yardsale for $1. I thought I had got a good deal. I would have to say that you have me beat.

There is nothing better than getting something you want for free! It's such a blessing, especially when it's something you've really wanted but haven't been able to afford. Anyway, I hope you enjoy all your new pans.

some people are just nice like that, i have a neighbor who gave me a bunch of pans, including an r2d2, and a bunch of others, i tried to pay her, but she said she'd have none of it
