Thanks to kiddiecakes (I think...), I went to the Great Cdn. wholesale store today and bought a 40 kg. (88 lb) bag of icing sugar. I had never thought of doing this, but it wasn't until I had to buy a 1 kg. bag at my local Co-op (in a pinch) did I realize how much more expensive it was.....I usually buy it at Costco for about $1.70 / kg, but ended up paying about $3.5.0 at the Co-op . Went to the Great Cdn. Wholesale today and it cost me $55.98 for 40 kg. Figured it out to$1.39 kg/ or .63 / lb! Even at Costco's prices I saved about $16.00. Now I've got this huge rubbermaid bin filled with icing sugar! I'll be awhile buying it again! Now all I need to know is how many cups of icing sugar in a kg??? I saw a post on this last week, but can't find it Can someone put PLEASE help me with this....or I'm in big trouble Thanks a bunch!
