I just finished making a Strawberry Shortcake FBCT and it actually turned out perfect. I have never done that before so I was worried. I put it in the freezer long enough to harden so I could flip it over to look. I about jumped for joy. So I wrapped it up really good and it is staying in my deep freezer until her party. Anyway, here is my question...when I put it on her cake, will it stay pretty firm? I am going to attach it to a cookie with buttercream before I add it to her cake. I guess I am worried that all my hard work will get too soft or fall apart. It is so cute. I want it to turn out perfect.

Thank you so much to everyone that gave me tips and advice. I used it all and it was so easy!

The FBCT will thaw and become the same consistency as the buttercream you would decorate with (assuming the cake is iced in buttercream).

You have to work pretty quick with it when you take it out of the freezer. They tend to thaw super fast. Then it will be the same consistency it was before freezing. HTH
