Oh my, I feel like I have just finished the marathon. Yesterday, I happened into the cooking school that I do kid's cake decorating bday parties, only to find that I had a party for this morning. Completely forgot about it.

After I finished working at my real job yesteday, I had 3 orders for today--nothing fancy, few roses here, few roses there, a nemo cake with smash cake and a chocolate cake. Now add in the 10 6" cakes that I got up at 5:00 AM to bake while decorating the other cakes. Frosting from here to yon! And raining to boot. Oh, and did I mention the 9 dozen cookies I had drying? Used food coloring markers to finish them.

2 of the cakes, I had no ideal where I was delivering them to and forgot to get the telephone number. She called 1 hour before I had to do the party and asked to move the meeting to another time. Enlisted friend to meet her with cakes. Finished with all of that by 10:00 AM, loaded cookies and nemo for delivery, as well as, the cakes, frostings and decorating paraphenalia for the party.

Now I have to go to my real job as a home health physical therapist. I think I am in need of a manager--time manager.

Wow Mac, good for you! I think you've done well managing your time! It all got done! Maybe you could just work on saying "no" every now and then if it gets overwhelming!

When I have need a break I schedule in weekends when I say "Oh, I'm so sorry but I'm all booked upfor those days!"

tastycakes--
That is my biggest problem--unable to say "NO". BUt I have scheduled next weekend for us only. I told my DH to tell potential customers that I am booked.
