icon_rolleyes.gif Ok, here goes:

I am still trying to get the hang of working with MMF, my goals for the year are to be able to handle it comfortably, and be able to use it well. My question is: After you have your MMF made and used it to do what is needed for your cake, what do you do with the leftovers? Can it be frozen and used later? If you model it into bows or other forms, how long can you keep them after they have dried? icon_confused.gif

I have so many questions about this I don't even know where to start! No one in my area works in fondant at all! The closest place you can get a wedding cake with fondant icing is 50 miles from me! I could really corner the market if I could get the hang of this! icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks in advance thumbs_up.gif

I have found with MMF it keeps better if you make it a tiny bit "too soft" to start, and then double bag it airtight (I spray a tiny bit of oil in there and rub it around so it won't stick to the bag) and then it keeps well for a week or so, not sure if longer.

I think you can keep hardened decorations pretty much indefinately.
