i have another really bad ?? icon_redface.gif

i've looked at numerous cakes in the gallery, on here everyday...i'm totally addicted...and i have seen some of the most beautiful cakes, and they all look so light and fluffy. Then when i look at mine, they look heavyicon_cry.gif . I don't know what i'm doing different. How can i achieve the look of lightness in a regular bc cake? I don't want people to ask to see pics of my cakes and think that they are going to be heavy by the way they look. It's really discouraging, and something that I would like to correct. Any suggestions. Besides giving up decorating..cause that's never going to happen... icon_biggrin.gif

I also looked in your photos...your cakes are gorgeous!!! A really big cake will appear on the heavy side...and that is not a bad thing. icon_wink.gif

Cheer up...you are doing great! thumbs_up.gif

Your cakes are gorgeous! If you mean heavy as in over-decorated then you're just wrong! They are beautiful!!!
