How Should I Transport A Cake 300 Miles With Curves?

I am making the barnyard cake for a baby shower... Should I leave the barn and cilo off until I get there or put it on and what would be the best way to make sure it doesnt fall? The road I will be traveling is very curvy...
I figured I would use dowels but after my disaster with the computer cake Im hesitant about even doing that... Any tips???
Not sure if I would put it together there, I would dowel it twice as much as normal and just make sure it cant slip or move around, I think that would be fine. Hope that helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think if you would have time to put it together once you got there...then I would wait. 300 miles is a long trip & a lot could happen. but then you'd also have to carry all your supplies w/you you'd need to put it together and finish it up.
if you do decide to put together before...then I'd use twice as many dowels just to be safe!!
Let us know how things work out for you!!! The best of luck on you trip I will keep my fingers crossed
I would wait and finish it there, I'm sure your nerves are still raw from the computer incident! If you'll have time and don't mind bringing a few supplies then don't hesitate to finish it there!
