I was wondering if I could apply fondant decorations to whipped cream icing? I am going to do the cake in white icing, but the fondant will be in red and black (ladybugs). Just wondering if it will mess up the whipped cream..?

It should be OK, although the whipped cream is soft. The decorations might sink in a bit if they are very heavy. You also should wait until the last minute to add them, because the moisture in the cream might help the fondant melt.

The decorations MIGHT not stick to the sides, again depending on how heavy they are.
