Ok everyone. Here is my first real batch of cookies. Man, they were more work than I ever planned on!! The cookie cutter was actually pretty easy to shape. If anyone has any advice or constructive criticism, I'd love to hear it. Also, my neighbor has asked me to make these same cookies for her daughters birthday in May, can you tell me how much you would charge for them? Thanks everyone for all your help!! -Amie
These came out great! You couldn't have had them turn out better if you bought the cutter. You did a super job!
I have never sold cookies but I have a friend who does and for the larger cookies she gets $3.00 each.
Oh my gosh these are so cute.. What alot of work though.. Must have taken you forever to do all those.. I'd love to attempt some like that for my grandaughters first birthday.. Not sure if I could make the cutter myself though.. I might have to look for one..
Fantastic Job!!!

AWESOME!! those are perfect! for something that big/detailed we would charge $4. GOOD JOB!
I would charge at least $4 per cookie. You might be able to get $5 because of all of the details. You did a great job!
WOW! Those are amazing. I wasn't expecting to see all that detail (no offense, just haven't seen Dora cookies like that...). Great job. Can't believe those are your first. Jodie
WOW! Those are awesome! I tried my hand at making cutters and didn't have the "special" touch so kudos to you for making your own!!!! And the detail on Dora is wonderful!
I'm with everyone else and wouldn't charge any less than $3 a cookie.
Those came out fantastic! I've done lots of cookies, but none like those! WOW! I can't begin to imagine how long those took you to do! Great job!
those cookies are great. i wouldn't let them go for anything under $4. fabulous job!!
WOW! Those cookies are great. My son said would you make him some with Deigo on them. Would you share how you iced them? Definently worth $4 or more a cookie.
Those are fabulous! I agree $4 (or more) per cookie! I made a Diego cutter and it was nowhere near as fabulous as yours! Kudos to yoU!
Those are beautiful, wow a lot of work.
I think $3 to $4 each is a good price.
You see cookies go for at least that much in specialty coffee shops.
Awesome job on making the cutter and the cookies! You decorated them beautifully, they are nice and large and I would think you could easily charge 4.00 to 4.50 per cookie!
Those are darling! Great job!
1. What advice can you give on making cookie cutters?
2. What kind of icing did you use?
Thanks!
I 3rd that what kind of icing did you use??? I have a birthday party coming up in about a month and I wanted to do cookies along with the cake (butterflies). I was going to try covering them in MMF, but your icing looks amazing.
Those are too cute!!! I would think $4 but definitely nothing less than $3! Could you share more about how you did them? Like what type of icing etc... they really are just adorable!
Wow..those are great! I am new to cookie decorating and would love the recipes also. I need to do a Diego themed party in November and need ideas.
These cookies are great! I am amazed at all the talent on this site! I'm also very jealous. How did you make a cookie cutter?
Yes, please share what kind of icing and all the details. I am new to this all so please tell!
