Ok everyone. Here is my first real batch of cookies. Man, they were more work than I ever planned on!! The cookie cutter was actually pretty easy to shape. If anyone has any advice or constructive criticism, I'd love to hear it. Also, my neighbor has asked me to make these same cookies for her daughters birthday in May, can you tell me how much you would charge for them? Thanks everyone for all your help!! -Amie

These came out great! You couldn't have had them turn out better if you bought the cutter. You did a super job!

I have never sold cookies but I have a friend who does and for the larger cookies she gets $3.00 each.

Oh my gosh these are so cute.. What alot of work though.. Must have taken you forever to do all those.. I'd love to attempt some like that for my grandaughters first birthday.. Not sure if I could make the cutter myself though.. I might have to look for one..
Fantastic Job!!!

I would charge at least $4 per cookie. You might be able to get $5 because of all of the details. You did a great job!

Those are adorable, the detailing tells how much time you must have put in to them.

Those are beautiful, wow a lot of work.

I think $3 to $4 each is a good price.
You see cookies go for at least that much in specialty coffee shops.

Awesome job on making the cutter and the cookies! You decorated them beautifully, they are nice and large and I would think you could easily charge 4.00 to 4.50 per cookie!

1. What advice can you give on making cookie cutters?
2. What kind of icing did you use?

Thanks!

I 3rd that what kind of icing did you use??? I have a birthday party coming up in about a month and I wanted to do cookies along with the cake (butterflies). I was going to try covering them in MMF, but your icing looks amazing.
