First of all, welcome to Cake Central! icon_biggrin.gif Wow, that cake is really beautiful. I'm guessing those are gumpaste roses. That one is WAAAAYY beyond my skills.

I love their cakes! I have been a fan for a while. Their cakes are in several of my books and a magazine I just bought this month. I want to be them when I grow up!

Hey all, I just got finished making the "experimental" chocolate clay roses, they turned out nicely. I do have a question though. When they get room temperature the petals have a tendency to fall in and become pliable. Did I use too much corn syrup? The roses that are on the website appear to keep their shape. I'll keep trying but if anyone has suggestions please send 'em my way. BTW the magazine that feature the cakes from the weblink is Simply Creative's Weddings Spring 2006 edition.
