)i need to carve a book cake. any tips on how to get it to look like the wilton book pan? it is a last minute change & i don't have a book pan. if it turns out good it will be my first uploaded photo (right after i steal my 10 yr old's digital camera icon_biggrin.gif )

I did one a few years back and cooked the 1/4 sheet cakes and on the right side of one and left side of the other I kinda cut at an angle the edge of the top then laid them together... the for the swoop on the other side I useed a thin wire and from the middle of each cake kinda pulled at an angle it cut just perfect did it on both sides and frosted... Looked awesome well I thought it did... It was like my second cake I had ever done... Heres a pic of it... I never put it in my Photos cause to afraid to show ppl.. My grandma sure thought it was the best looking cake she ever seen... Arent they always great for a good pick me up...

it looks great , i wouldn't be scared to show that to anyone, it's lovely. thanks for all your help.
