Oooh, I'd like to read that article, too!! icon_smile.gif It was funny, because the other night in my Wilton class we were practicing our writing...and I thought it would be a breeze because I have good handwriting. Well, needless to say, out of a class of 14 of us...guess who had the crappiest print and cursive?? icon_redface.gif Yup. I was doing everything wrong. LOL. What works for me...I use a toothpick and lightly etch the message on the cake and then go back and fill it in with icing/piping gel. I'm too scared to go freehand. Our instructor uses the Wilton letter presses in print or cursive to stamp out the message, then she goes over it.

I hope someone has some ideas, so hopefully this will at least bump for you! icon_smile.gif

Whats funny is I have the worst handwriting when I am writing on paper, however I have been told that my writing on a cake is great? I guess they are just totally different mediums.
