Hi everybody i'm new here. I love this website!!!! I have a question about using the viva papertowels for smoothing. It my be a stupid question, but anyway here it is Which side of the papertowel do you use? I see the viva papertowel to be used but nobody states which side. I almost didn't asked but maybe somebody else needs to know also. Thanks

I don't use the "Viva method", but it should be the kind without any designs embossed into them.

I prefer the hot spatula method which is entirely different, but great results for me.

I don't pay attention to what side I use, so I don't think it matters, my cakes always turn out very smooth. Works like a charm - no matter what side!
