Okay, So I'm very new to this decorating biz. So here is my stupid question. What are the "standard" sizes for a 1/4, 1/2 and full size sheet cake? I am seeing 9x13, 12x18 and 16x24 but several different sizes inbetween. I know the 16x24 won't fit in my oven as the 12x18 barely does! Is this size only sold in bakeries or am I missing something? HELP! Up until today I just assumed that the 12x18 was the standard full sheet size! icon_redface.gif Boy do I feel silly!!

Thanks

Holly

A full sheet wouldn't fit in a standard oven. A quarter is the 9x13 and the 12x18 is the half. I'm not sure about the exact size of a full but it's basically 2 halves. If you wanted a full you could place 2 12x18's together.

Generally, a 1/4 sheet is the 9x13, but a half sheet can be 11x15 or a 12x18, depending on who you talk to. Both are used, therefore a full sheet can be anywhere between 22x15 to 24x18 depending on which half sheet pan you use. I use 24x18 personally, because I use the 12x18 as a half sheet.

I use the 11x15 for a half and 2 of those for a full
