I made and froze some MMF in November and haven't had a chance to use it. I'm making a cake for a friend's shower and was thinking about using it but I don't know if the MMF is still good.

Will it be ok to use after being in the freezer for 3-4 months?

I would take it out and let it defrost completely while it is still wrapped. Once it is, you may still need to nuke it in the microwave for a few seconds to get it plyable. Then I would taste it to make sure it doesnt taste like whatever is in your freezer. If it tastes ok, play with and see if you can accomplish what you need for the cake.

I haven't had a chance to deal with frozen MMF yet. I don't see why it wouldn't be OK though. Let it come to room temp, and nuke it for a few seconds to make it pliable again. As long as it was wrapped well it should have not gotten freezer burn or anything like that.

Well, what do I know....
