In my Wilton class, we were shown the technique of tranfering an image (the rainbow) to a cake using piping gel. I would like to use this technique to transfer some lettering. Obviously, I would need to do a mirror image. Is there a program (such as MicrosoftWord) that I can use for this purpose? I searched all of the tabs on Word, but was unable to find MiIRROR anywhere. I am almost positive I saw a post on this in the past, but a search showed up nothing. Please...anyone know? Thanks!

In Microsoft Photo Editor, you bring up your image, click on File, Print, Properties, Features, then look under "orientation"... in this box, there is a radio button you click on that says "mirror image"... this will reverse your image for you. Hope this helps! icon_smile.gif

Depending on which printer you have, you may not have to do it with software. Usually, you can just select "transfer" in the paper choice area (mine says T-shirt transfer), and the printer will automatically mirror it for you. I haven't had a printer in eons that doesn't do this as part of a built-in function.

Thanks, crimsicle. My printer is brand new and it has so many buttons I have YET to explore. I need my kid to give me a tutorial! LOL I was able to do the imaging through Word. Thanks for the help. icon_smile.gif
