I am looking for some nice, simple and not too corny ideas for sheet cakes at a wedding. The bride has ordered a farily simple small wedding cake and then 2 sheet cakes to serve to guests. Her colors are green and yellow and she wanted me to tastefully decorate them along the john deer tractor theme as that is what her husband would like. I have some ideas of what I may do but could use any input or pics.
Thanks

This is probably stating the obvious but brainstorming usually stems from the obvious anyways! You could have the sheet done up as the logo (just instead of having it as a crest type, just have the green cover the entire top of the cake. Maybe do a double coloured border of green/yellow.

Here is a very nice and big pic of the logo: http://www.productivity.com.mx/images/Sede/john%20deere%20nuevo%20logo%202003.JPG
I mention the logo for the fact that you state you want it tasteful, which makes me think of corporate functions(where the general logo would be used). I'm not sure what you or the bride considers corny, one person's tasteful could be another person's corny. You could do a transfer or freehand of the john deere tractor in the middle with simple scrolls of yellow icing bordering it.
