Hi, this will be my first time using the tall tier stand, when I got it I was surprised that the legs were already glued on the 18 In. plate! I am only using the 12, 10, 8, and 6 in plates...so what do I do about legs for the 12 inch bottom. I know they sell legs seperately but I don't really want to do that because you have to superglue them on and I will want to beable to remove them. Anybody got any genious ideas? Help, please!

Wait, I'm not quite understanding, it didn't come with enough legs for all of them? Is this the acrylic stand?

It came with the legs already super glued to the 18 in. plate...and no other legs were provided. So I can try and take the legs of the big plate and risk breaking it, or try something else...I never knew that you had to glue the legs on anyway! Seems really dumb, for lack of better words, to have to glue the legs on...not everybody wants to use that huge bottom, or try and pry off the legs everytime you use it for a different size cake?

I have the same stand and from pst experiences do not try to remove the legs from the 18in because mine did break. I had to go out and rebuy the 18 in. The only thing I could do was to buy the legs and glue them to the size I needed. So now I have 2 12 in, 10 in, and 8 in. One of them has legs and the other doesn't. Wish I could be more help. I agree it stinks the way they do it but I think that you would run into stability issues of they were not attached. I could imagine trying to put together a cake and losing a leg.

YES you can buy more legs!!!! And more plates! I have the stand and I also ordered an additional...hmmm I think 14 or 16 inch plate and four more legs and used super glue to glue them on there, so you can have a smaller cake.

You can get them off the Wilton website.

Thanks Guys! I didn't even think about just buying more legs and an additional plate! I knew there had to be an easy way of fixin' this.
Thanks,
