I have been looking through the galleries and I have seen some amazing things done that say they are pulled/and or molded sugar...can anyone tell me what this is and where I can get some more information on how to do it? Thanks so much!!!

Check out the pulled/blown sugar section in the forum:

My husband actually just started working with pulled and blown sugar. Basically you heat sugar and water to a certain temp, boil all the water off, pour the sugar onto a silpat and let it cool enought to be able to manipulate it the way you want, either blowing air to get shapes or pulling it to get ribbons and other stuff. Here are a couple pics of what my husband has been able to make so far.

Also, it is very hot to work with and you do need some equipment to be able to do it, i.e. pipe and tubing for blowing, heat resistent gloves, heat lamp to keep it pliable.

Read through some of these posts they will give you a lot of info.
