No not anti Freeze icon_lol.gif ..........This is food grade Propylene Glocol. used in a wide range of commercial sauces and dips etc.

For its uses put in Propylene Glycol USP in a search, you will see hundreds of applications in the food industry.

I need to be able to color this stuff jet black, it is to color a flavoring

Sorry if I didn't explain myself clearly. icon_sad.gif

Thanks

Carol

Yes our color will color Propylene Glycol:

Propylene Glycol is unique among the glycols in that it can be taken internally and is used in food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and a host of other applications involving ingestion or absorption through the skin. It is odorless and colorless and has a wide range of solvency for organic materials.(like our color) it is completely water soluble. Propylene Glycol is also a known antimicrobial and can be used as a safe preservative

it is not anti freeze which is polyethylene glycol which is very poisonous.

I am glad you all cleared that up because in the Veterinary world we use propylene glycol as an ingredient in a ear medication because of its antimicrobial properties. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why you would want to color it! LOL
