I was wondering how I could go about making a chocolate cake dense enough for me to do the 3D shark cake that I am attempting this week. Does using butter instead of oil help and what about using a pudding mix in it, thanks

Butter instead of oil will help, as will using sour cream in the cake.
Adding pudding to the cake batter might help a little too.
