OMG - this morning? I'm trying to think of the typical landmarks of turning 18 - voting, being considered an adult.....but what actually represents that? Hmmmm......

You didn't say if it's a girl or boy. I've seen some neat cookies that depicted a balloon bouquet. Maybe that would be okay for a girl - with the number "18" on them also. If you print out edible images I think cookies shaped in a rectangle with a 'voter's card' and the kid's name would be cute.

either way - 18th birthday's have issues of adulthood behind them. I wish you the best of luck. And I hope all the cookie-masters here will pitch in and save the day......

18th Birthday represents Freedom to the 18 year old. What about a cake that depicts their freedom? If it's a girl you could have a girl in something like a pink convertible sportscar with her hair looking like it's flying in the wind. If it's a boy you could do something similar. Sorry, that was the best I could come up with for right now icon_smile.gif

I would do something whimsical and non-specific. That would work well for either gender, or any age, really!
