If you use powdered egg whites in your icing (BC) do you have/need to add cream of tar-tar in place of using meringue powder to help it crust? I see my local grocery store has the powdered egg whites and was thinking of using if I run out of meringue powder. icon_cool.gif

Good question. I know MP has cream of tartar added to it.

I use it all the time and have no problems. I have never added anything else to it.
