I just made a small batch of marshmallow fondant. It is too sticky to work with, and I don't know what to do to fix it! The notes at the bottom of the recipe say if it's too sticky, cut back on the amount of liquid...well that doesn't help me any now, when I've already made the whole batch!!

Thanks!
Melissa

..try to work in a little more powdered sugar..use your hands but coat your hands with a bit of Crisco first!

I agree with Missmissey, keep kneading in more powdered sugar and that helps, also if you have time you could let it sit uncovered and this helps dry it out a bit.

Thank you! I just compared it to another recipe, and I think there was too much liquid in the recipe I'm using. I added some more sugar and am letting it dry a bit while I take a coffee break icon_razz.gif I think it's going to come out alright.
