I just found Batman foil wrapped valentine chocolate 50% off and bought all they had for my son's birthday party, but how can I keep it fresh until April. Is it okay to freeze, if not, what should I do?

I never knew that. I did however, know that any kind of nut can go rancid if you don't freeze them. Random information that I thought was somewhat relevent. icon_wink.gif

Here's the problem with freezing chocolate, and it's really only visual.

After you freeze chocolate for even a few weeks, it'll start to get "white/grey" around the outside. Same as if you get an older bar form the shelf in the market. It's because the Cocoa Oil is trying to escape. The taste is still there, but the looks will turn people away sometimes. (Their loss really.)

A cool dark place MAY help if you plan to keep it that long, but don't be surprised if you get the effect when you take them out.
