I won an edible image printer on ebay!!!!!! icon_biggrin.gif I got the IP1500 b/c I probably won't use it too much, but I wanted to play! Where do you get your inks/frosting sheets from? I did a google search and I can't get into the Kopykake site...

I think you can order them from www.sugarcraft.com as well

Sugarcraft carries the KK supplies too. They're the same price as at the KK site but Sugarcraft ships faster thumbs_up.gif I don't think Sugarcraft is carrying the diamond series inks yet though so you might want to check back at Kopykake if you want those.

They're supposed to resist clogging and have better color but I haven't gotten to try them out yet. I'm looking forward to it though.

This is where I get my KopyKake supplies.

There is a note on the site that indicates many of the Canon models are discontinued. This may be why so many are unable to find the printers.
They are also trying to find new cartridges for any othe printers so check back often.

I'm excited for you! I use a 2 cartridge system and love it. It's so inexpensive to use and maintain. You might want to pick up a refill kit while you're shopping too so if one color runs out in your tricolor cartridge, you can refill it rather than buying a new cartridge. Saves money thumbs_up.gif

Lisa,

I'm guessing your asking me about the shipping. QUICK. I got my stuff in about three days. But then they are located just about an hour from me. I didn't realize when I ordered that they were that close to where I live. I need to find out if they have a storefront I can visit. I go into LA a lot and would like to check them out.

Beachcakes,

I use the two cartridge too. Have the exact same printer you got. I got clogged a little once - didn't use it for about two months. I did the iron steam clean thing and worked great again. After that I printed out everything I knew I would need for the next few weeks, edible circles for cookies for the new few holidays and birthdays.

Thanks...the site also says they ship direct from KK so maybe the order would include the new diamond inks.

My printer can go about a month unused before it clogs. I can't remember to do a maintenance print once a week so I just clean the print head and store the ink cartridges if I won't be using it for more than a month.
