CakeCentral.com Recent Downtime

Hi Everyone!

Recently some of you may have been unable to access CakeCentral.com for a few hours. Depending on which ISP you are currently with, the downtime may have been longer or shorter, so it will differ for many of you.

This was caused by a bug at our old domain registrar. We have recently switched and should no longer be experiencing any further problems.

***Whew*****
[huge sigh of relief]

CakeCentral.com is not going anywhere !party.gif We currently have a lot of plans for upgrades to the site and are looking forward to the coming years! thumbs_up.gif

Jackie, I figured you had it down for some reason, but I still tried a few more times. So glad to know you plan to hang around. I'd sure hate to lose you and everyone here.

I was trying to access this site, but couldn't. I figured that it had something to do with my server, until I could access some of the other sites on my "favorites" list. Glad to see that the site is back up and running.

We had a horrible storm here this morning and I thought it knocked out our ISP but then I could access other sites so I was begining to panick and have CakeCentral withdrawal.....I'm glad it was only temporary!!

I am so glad it's back! I totally freaked out when I wasn't able to connect and it said no such domain existed!!! CakeCentral.com has become my favorite site! I love the forums and viewing the new cakes everyone is making! I have learned so much here!!! Thanks for getting it back up as quickly as you could!

We had a horrible storm here too!! I wasn't able to get online because of the lightening!!! How much rain did Lufkin get? Bossier City got 6 inches in just a few hours!! The weatherman just said that today's rain was over the amount that we get in April!! We were flooded for hours! I went back to bed & slept through it all, LOL!! Thanks for the rain because I would have had withdrawals too from CC!!!!!!
