Does anyone have a recipe for this? It does NOT have lemon in it, it is a white cake with poppyseed in it - and it has a custard type filling to it. I have a request for this and it is one I have never seen before. Thanks !

Is there anyway you could leave the lemon out? Usually with poppyseed you can barely taste the lemon, it's just there as a background flavor to enhance the recipe.

I just googled poppy seed cake with custard filling and this recipe came up.......it doesn't have lemon in it and it has an almond custard filling.......maybe that's what they wanted????
