Thanks for your reply, I was look for a cake that you make and shape like a piano. If I do the butter cream transfer do i use this piano with out the rat? and also should i do a 9x13 pan, and print it on there, can I trace it with a pen or pencil? I am sorry to sound so stupid by I have never done this before.

Nothing is ever stupid if you dont know... NO your not going to use a pen or pencil...

depending on which one you choose to do your going to take a piece of wax paper and your going to lay it over the photo... Remember when you print the photo you want to print it in Mirror image that way its backwards and when your done it will lay right.... What your going to do is lay the wax paper on the photo and then your going to do one of two things if you use the glaze then your going to out line in the glaze if your going to use the buttercream then your going to outline in piping gel and then your buttercream or jsut your butter cream and if you do chocolate then your just going to outline in chocolate... All three of them are simple enought that I think you should be ok doing any of them.... if you have a cake projector then your going to put your photo in there and your going to outline right on the cake...

You can make a templet of a piano and just make your sheet cake and then cut it out of that, that would work too...

if there is anything else I can help with please post and I will do my best to help at this end... Good luck with what ever you choose to do .. and please remember there is never a stupid question and you never sound stupid everyone starts off there at one time in there learning..

hi.

If you send me a Private Message with your e-mail, I can send you a picture of a piano cake. I can't post it because I didn't make it. It also has the instructions.
